literature "Tito" Flores Galindo's' Great articulator "

This Thursday at 7:00 pm was the tribute to historian Alberto Flores Galindo at the National Library by the Conference "The Cholo in Peru." The meeting began 10 minutes late (both mine and Juan Acevedo). The auditorium was marked by filled with experienced and young graying beard.

also Antonio recounted the experiences he had with Galindo in his life as student at the Catholic University as a professor at the Free University in Villa El Salvador in the late 80's. The Free University was an area in which the few professionals working in Villa decided to offer classes without any restriction on the population of a newly born city. Apparently "Tito" was a man who sought to unite the fragmented world that is our country.

Furthermore, Marfiel (who came 20 minutes later) showed to "Tito" teacher, the passionate, someone who taught him to study the past to understand our present and to see the story from the point of the vanquished. At the time John said the vision for a "Tito integrator," he liked to talk to who was crossing. An intellectual book but from experience. Experiences reflected in his works, including (but I'm wrong) are: "The miners of Cerro de Pasco" and "The Search for Inca."

The evening was more enjoyable because I met a dreamer, an idealist, a historian who lived not to repeat history but to create new paths it will lead to a utopia (more needed). An "organic intellectual" and "A great articulator" that was "Tito" to his friends. And is that knowing a person is known to friends and loved "Tito" which has had great friends.
